Substack, the platform that hosts this newsletter, has created a new way to connect called Notes. It’s a way to check out short posts and ideas from other Substack authors. I’ll be posting pictures and short bits of writing, as well as links to other writing from authors I enjoy. It’s only been around about a week, but it already seems to be more interesting (chock-full of ideas) and less depressing than other social media sites I’m on. Think less doom-scrolling and more “Oh, that looks cool!”
Notes is a new space on Substack for us to share links, short posts, quotes, photos, and more. I plan to use it for things that don’t fit in the newsletter, like work-in-progress or quick questions.
How to join
Head to substack.com/notes or find the “Notes” tab in the Substack app. If you already have the app and don’t see the icon below, you’ll probably need to update the app (like I did at first). As a subscriber to Natural Wonders, you’ll automatically see my notes. Feel free to like, reply, or share them around!
You can also share notes of your own. I hope this becomes a space where every reader of Natural Wonders can share thoughts, ideas, and interesting quotes from the things we're reading on Substack and beyond.
If you encounter any issues, you can always refer to the Notes FAQ for assistance. Looking forward to seeing you there!
